The popularity of Wii Fit in 2008 gave the concept of turning to a video-game console to help you get in shape made a lot of sense. The adults stopped using the treadmills and free weights for Wii fit. The devices combining exercise with game like Dance Dance Revolution was quite in use for some time. But ever since the Wii Fit was introduced, the exercise along with games reached to popularity. Wii Fit had a balance board that attaches to the Wii gaming system helping you to do aerobic exercises, strength training and even yoga.

The Wii fit has sold over 8 million units all over the world. It has even worked out well as a work out. According to Phil Lawler, director of training and outreach at PE4Life, students exercise longer with new technologies than they do with traditional sports game.
