After enjoying banner year in 2008 despite the slumping economy the video game industry will find the coming. The recession is expecting to weigh on the sector in 2009. No one is predicting a major downturn in what many analysts considers being a recession resistant business.

The industry will still have to contend with a slow economy that is spending power of customers. All the companies are competing with itself in a sense of insecurity.
